The text overflow property specifies how overflowed content that is not displayed should be signaled to the user. Word will attempt to shrink the document by one page by reducing the size and spacing of the text.
Both of the following properties are required for text overflow.
Shrink text on overflow word. The resize property does not apply to inline elements or to block elements where overflow visible. When the first text box is full word automatically moves to the next text box and fills it. If you add or delete text in a text box word adjusts the text in the subsequent text boxes accordingly.
There is a function allowing you to reduce the size of the text so that text originally on two pages fits on one page providing there is not too much text on the second page you could consider using it.
